Calcutta University has more no. of affiliated colleges for the BSc course than VBU. Calcutta University has around 80 colleges and VBU has one, i.e. J.D. Birla Institute. The seat intake at Calcutta University is also greater than that at VBU.

No, studying at the NSOU - Netaji Subhas Open University is not free. Student will have to pay the desired fee for seeking quality education in the guidance of the top faculty members.
