Yes, NIFT Kolkata does offer admission to foreign students. NRI students are shortlisted based on their GMAT/ GRE/ SAT scores among other parameters. The institute reserves 5 seats for students applying via NRI/ foreign national category. Students must satisfy the eligibility to get into the institute. The basic eligibility requires candidates to have a Degree/ Certificate from a recognised board/ university and an equivalence certificate obtained from AIU, New Delhi. Yes, NIFT Kolkata does offer lateral entry for BFTech programme. The institute provides the course in Apparel Production and it costs about INR 5.45 lakh. Students must appear and clear the NIFT Lateral Entry Admission test (NLEA) to be eligible for admission.
