Direct admission to JIS University in Kolkata's B.Tech programme is not possible. You must pass the 10+2 exam with a minimum combined score in math, physics, and chemistry. The university will then administer the PET entrance exam.
As an alternative, you can take the WBJEE, JEE Main, or CEE AMPAI to apply to the B.Tech program. The merit list was created by the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) in order to facilitate counseling. You have to show up for the counseling session and select the course and college of your choice according to your rank and seat availability.

As an autonomous college, JIS College of Engineering may not strictly follow the syllabus of MAKAUT (Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology). Autonomous colleges have the authority to design their own curriculum and syllabi, often tailored to meet industry demands and academic standards.

While they may incorporate elements from the university syllabus, they have the flexibility to introduce additional or modified content to enhance the quality of education and align with current trends in the field. It is advisable to refer to the official website or contact JIS College of Engineering directly for detailed information on their

According to my resources who are studying MBA from JIS College of Engineering, the highest package offered was 12 Lakhs per annum by Cognizant and the lowest package offered was 3.2 Lakhs per annum by Infosys and the average package was 4.2 Lakhs per annum. I think this is one of the good college for MBA who has lower scores in CAT or MAT exam.
