NIELIT Kolkata offers short-term computer courses at basic, advanced and professional levels. The eligibility criteria varies as per the course selected by the candidates. Below are some of the certificate courses offered at NIELIT Kolkata:

NIELIT Kolkata offers two-year MSc course in affiliation with NFSU. Candidates who have completed BE/ Tech in CSE or CS or IT or ICT or EC or BSc IT/ CS or BCA or equivalent qualification with at least 55% aggregate (50% aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD) can apply for MSc course. The selection for NIELIT Kolkata MSc is based on merit in the last qualifying exam.

NIELIT provides Protsahan Puraskar Scheme for SC/ST/physically handicapped and female students studying NIELIT O/A/B/C level courses. Below is the criteria for availing the scheme:

• Aspirants must clear the papers in the first attempt
• The income of the parents of the student from all sources should not be more than INR 2.50 LPA

Candidates applying for MSc or PG diploma course have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 + 12% GST (INR 500 + 12% GST for SC/ ST). For O/ A/ B/ C level programmes, the application fee is INR 500. Aspirants can pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes such as CSC-SPV, Online (transfer, credit card, debit card, net banking), NEFT and RTGS.
