Admission to the postgraduate level course is entrance-based. Candidates need a valid score of CAT/MAT/CMAT/JEMAT/GMAT/GATE/ATMA. The shortlisted students are then called for group discussion and personal interviews (GDPI). A final selection list is then released of the students eligible for admission.

Yes, IISWBM accepts MAT scores for admission to the MBA (evening) and MBA-PS course. Apart from MAT, the institute also accepts CAT/ CMAT/ JEMAT/ GATE/ GMAT for admisison to the MBA (evening) course. For MBA-PS admissions, CAT/ CMAT/ JEMAT/ GATE/ XAT/ ATMA scores are accepted by IISWBM. 

However, for admission to MBA (Day) and MBA-HRM, IISWBM only accepts CAT scores.

Candidates who clear the final IISWBM MBA cutoff are then called for the GDPI round.

IISWBM offers a two year evening MBA course affiliated to the University of Calcutta and approved by AICTE. The total tuition fee charged by IISWBM MBA (evening) in INR 5.64 Lacs and according to the reviews provided by the verified Shiksha iser the average package offered during IISWBM Placements drive was INR 10 LPA. 

IISWBM is ranked 2nd best B-School in Kolkata and 8th in the eastern zone by the Fortune India's Best B-Schools' in 2022. It is also ranked at 14th place in India and 4th in eastern zone by The Week India's Best B-Schools' in 2022.

The cutoff trend has been fluctuating over the past years for IEM Kolkata admission for the General AI category. In 2024, the highest rank accepted was 44378. In 2023 and 2022, the maximum ranks admissible were 92292 and 31027, respectively. 

Note: This is the cutoff for the General AI category in the last round. Other categories, rounds, etc, will have different cutoffs.

Yes, IISWBM accepts CAT scores for admission to its MBA courses. Interested candidtes need to apply for the IISWBM MBA through its official website. The final admission to the MBA course is subjected to the performance of the candidate in CAT and the GDPI round.

For admission to IISWBM Kolkata MBA, candidates must meet the minimum eligibility criteria and need to have a valid CAT score.

Check out the step-wise complete admission process for IISWBM MBA 2024.

Step 1: Apply for the CAT 2023 and the apply to the desired IISWBM MBA course through its official website.

Step 2: Appear for the entrance test. Candidates who meet the IISWBM MBA cutoff will be called for the GDPI round

Step 3: The final admission offers will be given to the candidates who clear all the selection rounds. In order to accept the admission offer, the candidates need to pay the seat acceptance fee.

The college has not released the 2022 statistics. However, the NIRF report 2022 is out, according to which 42 MSc/ MHA and 63 PG (3 years) students were placed during St John's Medical College placements 2021. The median package offered to MSc/ MHA students was INR 2.40 LPA and for PG (3 years), it was INR 12 LPA
