IMI Kolkata offers two years PGDM programme equivalent to MBA. As per the guidelines laid by the institution avalid CAT/XAT and CMAT score are required for admission to PGDM programme. So there is a possibilty for candidates to get into IMI Kolkata without CAT as they can always opt for the alternate entrance exam.

UEM Kolkata has an internal entrance exam, namely IEMCET. This exam is conducted by IEM group for admission to various UG & PG courses at IEM and UEM. To get admission to MBA course at UEM Kolkata, candidates can appear for this exam either in online or offline mode. Candidates who hold a UG degree of either Engineering/ Science or Management are eligible to apply for MBA admission at UEM Kolkata. Admission to this course is entirely entrance-based. Candidates must qualify for CAT/ MAT/ WB JEMAT or any other state/ national-level entrance exam. Apart from that, candidates can also apply via a valid score of IEM CET, which is conducted by UEM itself. Candidates who qualifies for IEMCET will be exempted from other entrance exams. Further, the shortlisted candidates will be evaulated in the final round process, where they have to appear for Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds. 

Yes, UEM Kolkata offers a part-time MBA course, which is spread over two years. This course is taught offline on the weekends. Admission process for this course is same as for full-time course. Candidates are selected based on either CAT/ MAT/ WBJEMAT/ or any other National Level or State Level entrance exams.
