The programme is approved by AICTE and affiliated to APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University. According to the official website of TKM Institute of Management, there are two courses offered: MBA Dual Specialisation and MBA Innovation Entrepreneurship & Venture Development (IEV). Both courses require a minimum of 50% marks in Part III for B.A, B.Sc & B.Com graduates and 50% aggregate marks (for all semesters/all parts) for all other graduates. Additionally, candidates must have appeared for CMAT or MAT or KMAT Kerala, and must be Indian citizens.

The selection of candidates is based on the score obtained in the entrance test, and the group discussion and personal interview conducted by the institute. The weightage for the entrance test is 80% and for the group discussion and personal interview is 20%.
