GIET University application forms for the 2023 academic year were released on 25th December 2022. The application process for B.Tech admissions into GIET University began on this date. The GIET Entrance Examination (GIETEE) 2023 was conducted in June. Candidates interested in applying for BTech admission at GIET University needed to fill out the application form and appear for the GIETEE.

The university has recorded a 97% hiring rate during GIET Gunupur placements 2023. Furthermore, a total of 1,043 offers were made during placements 2023. However, as per NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to BTech and MTech and MA students was INR 4.71 LPA and INR 5.10 LPA during the placements 2022, respectively.
