Candidates seeking admission to the Lucknow University BPharm course must have passed Intermediate or equivalent Examination Class 12 in the last five years with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with Maths/Biology (Zoology and Botany). Physics & Chemistry – 50%, Biology or Maths 50%. (For SC/ST 45%).

Both Lucknow University and Kanpur University are reputed institutions for pursuing BPharm However, the median package offered to BPharm students in 2023 at Kanpur University is INR 3.75 LPA. On the other hand, according to the 2023 placements statistics, Lucknow University provides a median package of INR 14.4 Lacs to its UG students. LU is also known for its good infrastructure and provides a good learning environment. One- more point to be considered is if a student wants to get admission to a distance BPharm course, then they should prefer Kanpur University. Because Kanpur University is more famous for its distance programme. There
