Even without JEE Main, you can still secure admission via PEPT, provided you meet the academic criteria. Diploma students can also directly enter second year if seats are available.

There are mixed reviews about the faculty at Engineering College Nowgong. Student reviews mention that permanent teachers are good at teaching, and their way of teaching is also good, but they do not come to class regularly. The college also faces a shortage of teachers many times. Due to this, they call guest lecturers, who are not good at teaching. Overall, the college has been rated 3.5 out of 5 for its faculty.
