A student must dress in white shirt and black pant. Inappropriate dress code can lead to disciplinary action. Black shoes are compulsory for each student. The students must wear the dress code, except on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

But in 2022-2023 the college dress is not compulsory.

If your oral exam, practical exam, university exam is there so you can wear college dress as well as formal dress code .

Hall of Residence for students at IIT Indore is located on the permanent campus of the Institute at Simrol. The newly constructed building of the hall has the latest amenities. Presently, more than 900 students are residing in the hall. IITI has various campus facilities which include Cafe, Atm, Bank, laundary, salon, etc.

JoSAA Round 1 Seat Allotment for IIT Indore admissions 2022 to BTech course is expected to release on Sep 23, 2022. In the previous year, JoSAA R1 closing ranks for IIT Indore cutoff 2021 for the General category students was 1219 for Computer Science and Engineering. Similarly, for Electrical Engineering and Civil Engineering, the cut-off was 3352 and 7919, respectively.

The IIT Indore highest package placements for 2022 was INR 56 LPA whereas the highest package - IIT Hyderabad placements - 2022 was INR 65 LPA. The average package IIT Indore was INR 23.50 whereas at IIT Hyderabad, the average package was INR 20.46. Acc. to the NIRF ranking-2023 under the Eng category, IIT Indore has been ranked 14 whereas IIT Hyderabad has been ranked 8. From the above statistics, we can say that both institutes is almost the same in terms of placement.

For last year, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering was 7509 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it's advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission at IIT Indore - Indian Institute of Technology.
