Lateral entries are permitted only in colleges which have a tie-up with other institutes. Students with a good academic record are more likely to have their transfer approved by the admission department of their college. So, the first thing you must do is check with the admissions department of your college whether the lateral transfer is permitted in the 2nd year of your course of study. If you have a good CGPA in your 1st and 2nd year, the transfer may be granted on basis of your marks. Its rare in any college that architecture students get selected on campus. Same is with MANIT. You can't rely on campus placement. Yet MANIT architecture is one of the best available in country.

Prestige Institute of Management is one of the premier institutes of the central India for management studies affiliated to the state government run Devi Ahilya Bai Vishwavidhyalaya (DAVV).
Though, the institute does not have remarkable placement record, it is successful in achieving 90 percent placement record and also has nice locational factors.
The placement record for the past recruitment session is around 9 LPA whereas 9 LPA being the highest and 1.6 LPA being the lowest.
There is no remarkable abroad placement here.
So, the institution should not be preferred for long distance education purpose.
