No, students do not have to apply separately for IIITM Gwalior after registering for counselling. Admissions are managed centrally through JoSAA/ CCMT counselling. Students however, have to submit a separate form for other programmes.

IIITM Gwalior admissions are entrance-based. For BTech & M.Tech programmes, students have to appear for the counselling process. Other courses simply require entrance score. Selected students then receive an offer letter. Such students have to report at the college for verification and pay the admission fees to block the seat.

ABV IIITM admissions are entrance-based and getting a seat in the institute requires students to get high scores in the exams. The JEE cutoff for BTech CSE usually is 99 percentile. However, students from SC/ ST categories or those applying for the integrated courses may have better chances with this score.
