Shri Govindram Seskaria Institute of Technology and Science faculty is a pool of PhD holders. The Institute has 40+ professors, 30+ associate professors and 150+ assistant professors. Oriental University seats are limited. The BTech programme has the highest intake at 480. Students have to complete the admission process to get a seat. The intake is as below:

Oriental University does not conduct any entrance test of its own. However, the university does accept other national-level exams. These are JEE/ CUET/ CLAT/ CAT/ MAT/ UCEED/ CET, PET, and others.

Students have to meet the Oriental University eligibility to get admission in the university. The basic eligibility is as below:
- Oriental University UG eligibility - Class 12 from a recognised board
- Oriental University PG eligibility - UG degree from a recognised university
- Oriental University PhD eligibility - PG degree from a recognised university

Yes, students can get admission in Oriental University without entrance exam also. While the university does offer entrance-based admissions for some programmes, it is not mandatory. Students have to check the programme details at the official site to know more.

As per NIRF ranking 2025, IIT Indore emerged as the Atal Engineering college in Madhya Pradesh, followed by the other two colleges, including MANIT Bhopal and IIITM Gwalior.
