RJIT is mainly known for Its Automobile and Mechanical Engineering branches. It has all the facilities required for the Automobile Section. RJIT have Central School of Motor Transport nearby which have all the facilities required for Automobile Engineering. In RJIT, there are many clubs and teams for the Automobile and Mechanical Engineering Branches. Teams like Shipra, BAJA, QuadTorc, Urja and Benign Beaders which make vehicles and take part in different Vehicle Competition taking place across India.
