Haldia Institute of Technology (HIT) is a private, autonomous engineering institute in Haldia, West Bengal, India, affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology (MAKAUT) and accredited by AICTE and NBA. 

HIT Haldia and Narula Institute of technology both have decent reputations for the CSE branch but HIT Haldia generally has a slight edge in terms of infrastructure, campus facilities, and placement opportunities.
