Admission to any course at Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIST, Khammam) is not based on the scores obtained in the TSEdCET exam. To be eligible for the BTech (lateral entry) course at the college, the candidate must have completed a Diploma in a relevant stream from a recognized University. Although cutoff marks in the exam are not mandatory the candidates having a valid score in the exam are given higher preference.

No, admissions to any course at Swarna Bharathi Institute of Science and Technology (SBIST, Khammam) are not open currently. The college offers BTech, MBA, MCA, Diploma, and MTech courses. Admission to MBA and MCA courses is done based on the scores obtained in TSICET, and admission to the BTech and MTech courses is done based on the scores obtained in TS EAMCET and TS PGECET exams, respectively. Admission to diploma courses is done based on Applications for all these exams generally opens in March or April.
