Dr. Rizvi College of Engineering competes at par but it's surely achievable. The admissions to B.Tech programs are heavily based on entrance exams like JEE Main, UPCET (Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test), or JEECUP (for Diploma courses). Eligibility criteria for students to provide an apt score in the related exam and follow the counselling process conducted by the college need to be completed for B.Tech. The college accepts CAT, MAT, and GMAT scores for admission into the MBA, besides elections for these courses.

To get admission into Somaiya Vidyavihar University, one needs to select the course he or she wants to study and check the eligibility criteria for that course on the official website. The form can be filled online. One needs to upload necessary documents and pay the application fee. Some courses require scores from entrance exams like JEE or CAT; others are merit-based. National level entrance examination like CUET, JEE Main, MHT CET, PERA CET, GATE, etc. are accepted by Somaiya Vidyavihar. The eligibility for class 12 candidates is a minimum of 40-55% and graduates need 55% to be eligible. The basic application process for CUET is to visit the website of CUET, fill the application form, download the admit card, appear for the examination, check for results and appear for CUET Counselling.

Yes, one can get into NSIT without giving the GATE exam as the basis of selection for that course. GATE is a gateway for entering M.Tech courses of NSIT. In cases of undergraduate courses like B.Tech and other such courses, admissions are done based on scores in JEE Main and not GATE. GATE is not required for undergraduate courses in NSIT.
