Central University of Odisha offers three-year BSc (Hons) course divided into six semesters. After completing Class 12, candidates can apply for BSc (Hons) courses. The university offers BSc (Hons) in:

• Agriculture
• Animal Husbandry and Dairying  
• Forest Management

Aspirants must complete bachelor’s degree and/ or in the master’s degree in Science/ Social Science/Humanities or Bachelor’s in Engineering or Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics with at least 55% aggregate to apply for Central University of Odisha B.Ed programme. There is 5% relaxation in the aggregate for SC/ ST/ PwD candidates. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission.

Central University of Odisha offers two-year B.Ed programme through the Department of Education. The course is divided into four semesters. Candidates are selected for B.Ed programme based on their CUET-PG score. Candidates can apply for B.Ed after completing graduation.

NISERs are not generally placement-oriented colleges. They prefer to give good quality education to the students. The course is structured focusing on a research career. 

However, the placements for last year were good the highest package offered was INR 15 LPA and the average package was INR 8 LPA. Almost 80% of the batch got placed. Some of top recruiters were TCS, Infosys, Defense Research and Development Organization, Indian Space Research Organization, Council of Scientific and Industrial Research Labs, etc.
