As you have scored 73% in HSC board, so you are eligible to take admission in this college. But getting a seat may be difficult. Still I will suggest you to participate in the counselling process wisely and smartly and wait till the last round of the counselling process. Best of luck.

Candidates must have passed a Class 12 pass from a recognised board in the Science stream with at least five subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for candidates from reserved categories) or be in the top 20 percentile in the Class 12 exams administered by the relevant boards in order to be eligible for admission to the B Tech programme at NIT Rourkela. In 14 specialisations, the institute provides BTech programmes. BTech programmes in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer Science and engineering, etc. are a few of these specialisations. The MBA programme at Xavier Institute of Management Bhubaneswar admits students based on their performance on the XAT, with a personal interview phase following.
