No, direct admission is not applicable at CUTM Balasore. Admission to all the courses at the college is entrance-based. Candidates need to fulfil the basic eligibility criteria before applying to their desired programme. The final selection is done based on candidates' scores of CUEE exam conducted by CUTM.

Candidates will have to study Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry for CUEE 2025. The subjects and units which the candidates will have to study for the entrance examination constitute the CUEE syllabus 2025. Candidates should check the topics mentioned in the CUEE syllabus and accordingly prepare for the entrance examination. By checking the syllabus of CUEE 2025 beforehand, the candidates will be able to understand what has to be studied to secure higher scores in the entrance examination.
