The cutoff various every year but as per the past year cutoff, a general category student with a rank under 1,50,000 in JEE MAINS EXAMINATIONS can easily get a seat at VSSUT. For getting higher branches you need to have rank under 60K. The cutoff rank for reserved categories is around 4-5 Lacs rank in JEE MAINS examinations which is very low.
So, getting Admission in this college is not so difficult as NIT'S and GFTI. A student with basic knowledge of subjects can easily make up to get a seat here.

To get admission at Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology the students need to qualify various entrance exams for different courses.
For B.Tech students- JEE MAINS or JEE ADVANCED rank
M.Tech- GATE SCORE
M.Sc- IIT JAM
MCA- Odisha JEE
Ph.D- GATE/UGC-NET/CSIR-NET/ICAR/ICMR SCORE with written exam and interview.
You need to apply for the courses on the official site by filling a application form. After that if your rank is within the cutoff rank you will be given admission. Further you need to visit college to take admission.
