Dear Nomanjee, I have no idea of the Journalism programme at PU Patiala but being alumni of LPU, I can tell you about this programme at LPU. LPU is best for pursuing a B.A. (Journalism and Mass Communication) and M.A. As my cousin completed his degree last year. The programme is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. As we all know, Mass Communication is a medium of dispersing information to many people. The term is not limited to only journalism but spreads its branches to various other media fields including newsgathering and reporting, film direction and production, event management, public relations, advertising, corporate communication, and the list continues. So, pursuing the degree from such an institute of repute is the need of an hour. Addressing your query, LPU offers more than 250 programmes out of which mass communication is high in demand. One of my nieces took admission to LPU and told me that the course is designed to expose students to all dimensions of Print, Electronic, and New Age Media. The focus is on enhancing technical skills of reporting, news design software, video editing, photography, etc. The focus is on
