No, only candidates who manage to secure admissions into the BSc (Hons) course at Jindal School of Journalism and Communication will be considered for the MCM scholarship. Candidates are not required to appear for JSAT to gain admissions and can appear for the exam after becoming a student of JSJC.

It is difficult to say whether getting into JECRC University is tough or easy and will depend on the:

  • Candidate's level of preparation
  • Competition
  • Available seats
  • Personal motivation

As well as a number of other factors that will not be discussed here. But admissions to the different courses at the university will depend on entrance exam scores such as CUET, CAT, MAT,  XAT, JEE Main, etc. for its different courses.

The MCM scholarship offered by O.P. Jindal Global University looks at the scores obtained in the last qualifying exam and JSAT to select candidates for admissions. This means that for PhD students, the scores they obtained during their post graduation will be the ones that are looked at alongside the JSAT score during selection.
