The UOK Sports Board manages an indoor gymnasium hall with facilities for basketball, badminton, wrestling, judo, and table tennis. Outdoor facilities include practice fields for sports such as football, volleyball and an upcoming athletics track for running. The university also organises sports events such as a 4 km race, Run for the Nation, under the Bharat Mera Ghar celebration week. This event was organised by the Department of Physical Education and the Sports Board.

Apart from hostels, library, and sports, UOK infrastructure includes a university canteen, shuttle service, computer labs, and a separate cell for the differently-abled students. The campus is ragging-free and promotes the holistic development of its students with NSS and a placement and counselling cell available at the university.

Currently, the UOK library is subscribed to more than 90 printed journals and provides access to various electronic journals through the INFLIBNET Centre in different disciplines and uses the SOUL software for routine library work.

Kota University charges a one-time hostel fee of INR 500 from all its students with an additional refundable security deposit of INR 2,000 for Indian students and INR 10,000 for foreign students. Nominal charges are also included in the hostel fee on a per-month basis, such as water (INR 100), electricity (INR 50), and hostel development (INR 100), etc. Mess charges are collected separately on the basis of actual expenditure with an annual advance of INR 5,000. The monthly hostel fee varies according to courses, such as

  • For UG – INR 500 per month
  • For PG – INR 750 per month
  • For Ph.D – INR 1,000 per month
