Doing a complete MBBS in 15 L in Russia is quite difficult. However, if students take admission to government universities in tier 2 or tier 3 cities, adjust with on-campus hostels or mess, cook or share food costs, then it may be possible. The cost of an MBBS course at the Northern State Medical University (NSMU) is RUB 340,000 (INR 3.7 L) per year as per data curated from certain unofficial sources. NSMU has not officially released the fees for its MBBS courses.

This demonstrates that the university has very strict admissions requirements and takes a strict stance when selecting worthy applicants.
