Many of the unofficial sources claim that FEFU acceptance rate is around 12.5%. This means that the university is very selective. However, a few others claim that its acceptance rate is around 36%. So, to take admission to this university, students should have an exceptional academic standing. They must have secured good marks in their previous studies. Additionally, they must also meet all the entry requirements. For admission to MBBS course, the applicants must have completed Class 12 education and appear for NEET exam.

Yes, the language of instruction at Far Eastern Federal University is in English. The university does not switch to Russian language instruction in the final years of education. All the communication between students and academic instruction is done in the English language. The university does have the Russian language as the part of the curriculum, but it is taught in English by some of FEFU's best teachers.

No, a knowledge of the Russian language is not necessary for admission to FEFU. However, students are required to appear for entrance exams in Biology and Chemistry. These are held in English language. There is no Russian language proficiency exam that students have to appear for. Note that all the academic communication and instruction at the university is offered in English.

Far Eastern Federal University application fee for Indian applicants is 3500 Russian Rubles (Around INR 3,900). The applicants can apply online by accessing the application form link from the university's official website. A few of the documents that are required to apply are:
