Absolutely, in case of the Indian students aiming to study an MBBS at Ulyanovsk State University (or any other medical institution in another country), the regular entrance examination NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test) must be passed.

The official medium of teaching at BSMU Russia is Russian. However, note that the first 3 years of the course is taught in English. Yes, as an Indian citizen taking admission to BSMU Russia, admissions to 100% of seats of MBBS / BDS will be done through NEET UG in Medical / Dental colleges run with the approval of Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India. After the approval of the admission committee, students are required to prepare and send the following documents via email:
- Copy of the international passport
- Documents confirming the previous level of education
- Health fitness certificate
- Other documents as required

Yes, there is an entrance exam that international students are required to appear. Students are required to arrive at least one week before the start of the entrance exams. The entrance exams are Chemistry and Biology. This is how the general process would work for the foreign students. This is how the general process works:
- First of all, select the study program
- Prepare the documents that are required and send them via mail to the university
- Then, receive a students' invitation
- Apply for the student visa
- Then, arrive to the Russian Federation
- Next, pass the entrance examination

Far Eastern Federal University has its own security services and its members are there in every building. Additionally, the university uses pass system, hence, no strangers can enter the hostels or study buildings without permission. The university also have emergency security service phone number available 24x7. Also, a police station and a fire emergency station are situated near the campus.

Yes, all foreign students in international programs at Far Eastern Federal University get accommodation in campus hostels. There are 25 hostel buildings on the campus. Maximum distance from hostels to study buildings is just 15-20 minutes. The hostel fee can range as per the room type and can range between Russian Ruble 3,800 – 4,400 per month.
