MTech CSE cutoff 2025 was released for the year 2025, wherein the range was from 526 to 602, according to the last and first round cutoff for the General AI category. Please note that different categories will have different cutoffs accordingly; for example, the OBC AI category, the NIT Sikkim M.Tech cutoff 2025 ranged from 555 to 486. For the SC and ST AI quota, admissions were closed at 403 and 278, respectively. M.Tech admissions are based on GATE score, followed by the CCMT counselling process for NIT Silchar 2025.

NIT Sikkim considers GATE scores for admission to MTech. The GATE cutoff was between 359 and 526 for General AI category. MTech in CSE was the most competitive specialisation followed by Data Science & Engineering. The cutoff for CSE was 526 and 499 for DSE.

National Institute of Technology Silchar application process begins with an online application. Interested students must fill out the online application for the respective courses on the official website of NIT Silchar. Follow the steps given below to apply to NIT Silchar:
Step 1: Admissions to the first semester of all UG programmes are made based on the seats allocated by the JoSAA from the list of candidates selected by all India JEE (Main). Hence, apply for the entrance exam first.
Step 2: Then appear for the entrance exam.
Step 3: Take part in the counselling round.
Step 4: Pay the admission fee at the allotted college.

NIT Silchar selects candidates based on their merit or entrance exam scores. Aspirants also need to score a minimum of 75% aggregate in Class 12 for UG courses. A minimum of 60% aggregate is required in graduation for PG courses. Candidates should also have a valid score in JEE Main, IIT JAM, GATE, etc. Hence, aspirants with 85% can get admission provided they also meet the selection requirements.

Yes, getting admission with a 25K rank is possible, depending on the category. For the General AI, the overall cutoff ranged from 11112 to 59346. Hence, a student with a 25K rank could get a seat.
For the General HS quota, the cutoff varied between 21987 and 95236. Candidates from this category also have a chance at admission. See the table below for the General category last round cutoff for both quotas.

NIT Silchar CCMN cutoff 2025 has been released for the first round. The cutoff was released for admission to the MSc specialisations. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks varied between 1111 and 1418. In the OBC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 1251 and 2135. Among the SC AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 3258 and 4109. The cutoff for ST category candidates varied between 4109 and 5221. For EWS AI category candidates, the ranks varied between 1271 and 1904.
