The selection criteria for B.E. or B.Tech courses at Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT) includes:

Eligibility: Passing 12th grade in a relevant stream with a minimum of 45% aggregate 

Selection criteria: WBJEE/ JEE Main + WBJEE Counselling 

Reserved category: A minimum of 40% aggregate for candidates belonging to reserved categories like SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B, PwD 

Subjects: Passing 12th grade with Physics and Mathematics, and any one of Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, Computer Application, or Technical Vocational Subject 

English: Passing 12th grade in English with at least 30% marks

The tentative date for the publication of the TNEA 2025 rank list is July 2025. 

Here are some other tentative dates for the TNEA 2025:

May–June 2025: Uploading of original certificates 

June 2025: Assigning random numbers and online certificate verification at TFC's 

July 2025: Grievances redressal and counseling for general and government special reservation categories 

July–September 2025: General counseling online 

The TANCET 2025 dates for the next academic session are yet to be released.
