The North Bengal University (NBU) offers 2-year full-time MBA program. Candidates having completed bachelor's degree are eligible for application to MBA program. Selection will be as per the merit of CAT/MAT/ATMA/ JMET/ XAT/ WBJEMAT/NBUMAT score. Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 50 per cent aggregate or equivalent from a recognised university. The candidate must have at least two years of work experience at the managerial or executive level. Work experience in part-time mode is not accepted by any MBA institute.

The admission process of North Bengal University varies depending on the course which you are interested in-
- Admission to BA, B.Sc, BBA, BCA, B.Li.Sc, B.Ed and LL.B courses is granted on the basis of merit-list published by the university with respect to candidates’ marks in their last qualifying examination.
- MA. M.Sc, MCA, M.Li.Sc and LL.M admissions are offered on the basis of a written test followed by viva-voce conducted by the university.
- For PG courses, 60% seats of the total are reserved for the candidates who have completed their UG degree from NBU while 40% are for the candidates belonging to the other
