The faculty at ASTI is quite good and experienced. Most of them are well-qualified with M.Tech or PhD degrees, and they explain topics in a very simple and clear way.
They're also supportive outside the classroom, especially when it comes to projects, placements, and doubts.
In departments like CSE and ECE, the faculty is very strong and helps us stay updated with the latest tech trends too.

Entrance Exam Route (70% of Seats)
Take TS EAMCET: Prepare and appear in the Telangana State Engineering, Agriculture & Medical Common Entrance Test. Make sure your score is good enough—CSE/ECE may require a bit higher rank, but most branches are well within reach.

Honestly, getting admission into Aurora's Scientific and Technological Institute (ASTI) isn't too hard if you've got the basics covered.
Most seats are filled through the TS EAMCET exam. The cutoff isn't very high compared to top engineering colleges.

ASTI's canteen (and mess) is described as serving “delicious and hygienic non?vegetarian and vegetarian food at reasonable prices. Some reviews highlight that mess hygiene and food quality fluctuate. In extreme cases at other colleges, students have reported issues like insects in meals. While there aren't such reports specifically for ASTI, this suggests hostel dining in India can be inconsistent

No, you would not be able to get admission to this institute with a CAT percentile of 80 if you belong to the General AI category. As per the estimated CAT cutoff for the General category students under the All India quota, candidates would need to secure at least 85 percentile to be considered eligible for the next round of admissions.
Note- IBS Hyderabad does not release the CAT cutoff publicly. It is only accessible to students who appear in the exam and have login credentials. So, the data mentioned above is an estimate and not official.
