Getting into R.G. Kedia College of Commerce is moderately competitive. For the undergraduate courses, a minimum of 50% in 12th standard of a recognised board is a must. Postgraduate admission for MBA will be granted by the candidates if they have any relevant bachelor's degree along with the score of any entrance exams conducted for this like TSICET, CAT, or MAT. The college, although having a decent reputation, offers several programs. Thus, it focuses majorly on academic performance and entrance exam scores and therefore competes fairly with applicants who are qualified.

Quality of food in mess at R.G. Kedia College of Commerce is rather mixed. While there are students who like a wide variety and great taste, many others find a place to grouse about issues like cleanliness, the quality of food, amongst others. Lack of variety and poor preparation are often the complaints heard. Overall, the chaos strives to achieve healthy food; however, experiences differ, so hygiene should be improved and a greater variety of food options made available for the students.
