In M.G.R. Educational and Research Institute, B.Tech is of moderate difficulty depending on the culture, area, and academic performance of the student. Computer Science, Electronics, Civil and Mechanical Engineering are few specializations which the university provides with total strength of 60-120 students in each branch for an academic year.

TS LAWCET is an entrance exam specifically for law courses and is not a applicable for admission to become programs. There for its course are not considered for entry into b common business analytics program at this college. The admission process has been closed on December 18, 2024 into the *MBA programme at Kousali Institute of Management Studies (KIMS), Dharwad.* Normally, the application dates are within May to June for an examination to be held in July for the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). 

For the academic session of 2024-2025, the application window was from May 26 to June 16, 2024.  

The PGCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) and KIMS admits 120 students every year on the basis of this test.
