PSTU is a state university in Hyderabad, Telangana, that offers various courses in Telugu language, literature, culture, fine arts, and performing arts. It was established in 1985 and is named after Potti Sreeramulu, a freedom fighter and Telugu activist.

PSTU does not publish the cutoff for its courses. Instead, the authorities produce a PSTU Merit List, including the selected applicants’ names, courses, roll numbers, and marks. The merit list is based on the performance of the candidates in the PSTUCET entrance exam, which is conducted by the university every year.
