Kakatiya Institute of Technology and Science has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.E. / B.Tech | Candidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit. |
| M.E./M.Tech | Candidate must have completed B.E. / B.Tech. in EE/AMIE in ECE/ AMIE (Electronics Telecommunication Eng), AMIETE ( Electronics) & Telematics Engg) (or) equivalent. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category). |
| MBA/PGDM | Candidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Candidate must have studied Mathematics at least four papers of 100 marks each. A pass in the Qualifying Examination is sufficient for SC/ST candidates. The candidates passing the examination compartmentally and securing required percentage of marks or equivalent CGPA are also eligible. OR Candidate who have completed B.Sc. (Chemical Technology) of Loyola Academy, Secunderabad are eligible for admission. OR Candidates who have completed Bachelor's Degree with Mathematics subject as an optional and have studied a minimum of 30 credits in Mathematics. |

P. G. College Of Pharmaceutical Science And Research has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

| B.Pharma | Candidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology subjects with above mentioned marks in the above subjects taken together from any recognised Board/Council. The mentioned marks of SC/ST and OBC is for the candidate belonging to maharashtra State. Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidates must have to appear for MHTCET. All India Candidates need to appear for MHTCET/NEET. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHTCET. |
