Tezpur University offers over 24 UG, PG, diploma, doctoral, and certificate programmes in various fields, such as Engineering, Arts, Science, and Commerce. Some of the popular courses of Tezpur University’s are BSc B.Ed integrated course, BTech, integrated MA, etc.
Candidates willing to take admission to BSc B.Ed integrated course at TU must have passed class 12 or SSC with a minimum of 60% aggregate and should take CUET-UG or TUEE which is conducted by Tezpur Univeristy (TU) itself.

Candidates willing to apply to UG courses of Tezpur University through CUET should have a minimum aggregate of 55%-60%. These marks are the minimum qualifying criteria for candidates to be considered for the CUET entrance exam through which students can be admission to Tezpur University.

Tezpur University (TU) intakes admission in its BSc programme through two mediums: CUET-UG and Tezpur University Entrance Examination (TUEE), which is TU's entrance exam. Candidates willing to take admission in any of the specialisations of BSc must need to take the examinations described above.

Tezpur University will release two merit lists on 3rd July 2023. The induction of candidates at Tezpur University is purely entrance based. Candidates interested in taking admission at Tezpur University score cards/ ranks must be within the range specified in the merit list. Furthermore, students will have to report to the admission cell of the university to complete the process of securing their seat by having the document verification and fees payment done.

You need to score minimum 92-95 percentile or above in JEE mains.But cut off is subjected to change it may increase or decrease depending on the number of candidates appeared, difficulty level of examination and total number of seats available etc.

TEZPUR University, the overall cutoff for JEE-Main is 39036 - 68154 rank. Rank between 65000th to 130000th rank for the general category and 8000th to 13000th rank for SC category students across various B. Tech specialisations.

Dibrugarh University has been ranked 33 in the Pharmacy category by the NIRF ranking 2023 whereas Tezpur University was not under the top 100 by NIRF ranking 2022. Moreover, it has been ranked 301-350 in the Asia University Rankings. Tezpur University was established in 1994 and is spread over an area of 264 acres land. Moreover, TU is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). Also, TU is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

Tezpur University admission is completely entrance-based. The entrance exam accepted for BTech/MTech by Tezpur University, includes JEE Main for BTech and GATE/TUEE for MTech. The university releases a cutoff list to declare the minimum scores required for selection. Candidates with marks equal to or more than the cutoff marks become eligible for admission.
