The Tezpur University does not have provision for Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com) course. It mainly offers science, engineering humanities and management programmes at the undergraduate as well as at postgraduate level. The most sought courses offered to the undergraduate level students include B.Sc., B.Tech, B.A., and the integrated B.A/B.Sc./B.Tech programs to departments of Science and humanities respectively.

Hello Everyone,
The minimum eligibility requirement for admission to the Integrated M.A. in English course at Tezpur University is a minimum of 60% aggregate in Class 12 or SSC.
Tezpur University also accepts the following exams for admission: TUEE and CUET.
The CUET 2025 cut off for Tezpur University is expected to be released in mid-August 2025 on the official website.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the CUET 2025 exams, and the application form will be released in the last week of February 2025.

If we compare BSc at Gauhati University with Tezpur University we will see that the tuition fee of Tezpur University is more affordable than the Gauhati University. The tuition fee at Gauhati University is INR 48,000 to 1.4 Lacs while at Tezpur University it is INR 28,000 to 35,000. If we look at the coourses offered by the university Gauhati University offers more BSc courses than Tezpur University as there are more affiliated colleges providing the programme with Gauhati University than Tezpur University. GU provides 310 BSc courses while TU provides eight BSc courses.

You must take the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in order to be admitted to Tezpur University for a B.Sc programme CUET results are used by Tezpur University to admit students to its undergraduate programs such as the B.Sc.
How to Apply:
Eligibility: Verify that you fulfil the minimal requirements for eligibility which usually include a 10+2 degree with a qualifying percentage and an appropriate subject combination (for example, physics, chemistry and mathematics/biology for Science courses).

To apply for MBA at Tezpur University, you need to fill application form from the institute's official website with all necessary details like qualifications, entrance exam scores (CAT/ MAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ ATMA/ CMA) and other necessary information along with uploading all the required documents and paying the application fees. After that, you need to submit the form after final preview. You'll be shortlisted according to your entrance exam score, and if you qualify in the cutoff, you'll be called for final admission steps like counselling, interview, fee deposition etc.

You can join Tezpur University's integrated courses by JEE mains and CUET-like entrance exams. The cutoff through jee mains for a sc/st category is 51-52. For an OBC-NCL student, it is 73-74. For a gen EWS student, it is 75-76. The common list is like 90-91 like that. These are not the exactly same as I above mentioned they may have some differences in cutoffs. Same as for cuet entry also.

Assam University offers 5,580 BSc seats in total, while Tezpur University offers total number of 139 seats. As a result, Silchar University provides the most seats for the BSc course. However, there is no difference between the fee structures of both SMVDU and Tezpur University, except for B.Tech and MBA courses, where SMVDU fees tend to be costlier than Tezpur University. Annual fees for the B.Tech course in SMVDU are found in the range of ?1.6 Lacs to ?2 lakhs, with some ?2 Lacs for MBA.
