Admissions are given as follows,
1) 70% of seats given by considering JEE percentile and +2 marks
2) 30% of seats by considering only +2 marks. As you meet the eligibility of SASTRA you'll get a chance in IT, it's more difficult to get CSE.
Anyway, try for this in counselling.

Sastra is a good institution for B.Tech in branches.
IT is also a good branch in SASTRA. You can go ahead with IT as it has very good placements as the companies which approach the institute are IT based (most of them).

Hi Jaysurya, yes, you can get a seat in SASTRA University through stream 2. As your board score is very good, you will get your favourite courses easily. You should apply for this college.

It will cost you around 4-5 lakhs for the whole course plus hostel and mess if you opt for the college hostel.
