You have a good chance of getting admitted to SASTRA University, particularly for Stream 2, which considers only class 12th marks for 30% of the seats.

The stream 1 is based on your JEE and 12th score .

You have a good chance but you should try for other courses if you don't get the desired one.

Your admission probabilities for the CSE branch at SRC-SASTRA University, Kumbakonam are low due to your position of 707 in Stream 1 and 105 in Stream 2. Students aiming to study CSE through Stream 1 must secure a rank within 200-300 whereas Stream 2 candidates need to achieve scores between 50-100. The precise cutoff points fluctuate based on multiple factors that influence the number of student participants and the available number of seats in the participating institutions. Other branches including IT, EEE and Mechanical Engineering have admission slots open with annual fees between INR 2.5 Lacs and INR 3.5 lakhs.

With 58 marks in JEE Mains and 964 (96.4%) in IPE, your combined score for SASTRA University's Stream 1 would be around 86.8. CSE may be tough to get with this score, but you have a better chance in other branches. Also, apply through both Stream 1 (JEE + IPE) and Stream 2 (IPE only) to maximize your chances. Keep checking SASTRA's official site for updates.

Your chances for admission to these preferred studies are restricted because your home state rank stands at position 1922. The previous admission cutoff ranks for civil engineering and mechanical engineering and chemical engineering at SASTRA span from 1500 to 2500 indicating your potential selection as a home state candidate. Your position at rank 375 in Stream 1 at SRC SASTRA Campus will make it difficult to obtain admission in either CSE or ECE programs. Most students who wish to enroll in CSE or ECE at SRC SASTRA Campus need to achieve ranks between 100-200 during Stream 1 admission. The exact cutoff amount might shift due to the combination of students who sought admission alongside seat availability numbers. The cutoff ranks for CSE stood at 170 whereas ECE reached 220 in the previous academic year. The remaining spots in IT, EEE along with Mechanical Engineering branches at SRC SASTRA Campus accept students with a tuition cost between INR 2.5 Lacs and
