There is no specific cut-off marks for getting admission in Sastra University. Your class 12th marks and JEE marks will decide your seat in Sastra University. The merit is made based on 25% weightage of JEE marks, and 75% of your class 12th marks.

Both are good. But according to branch, you can opt your choice. If u want to take CSE or IT or ICT then I can say SASTRA is best, because of the high placement opportunity. Nearly 80 companies will come every year. You will have a very good opportunity of getting a job with a high package. Companies like Microsoft, Paypal, TCS and many more will be available every year. SASTRA will provide hostel scholarship and merit scholarships of nearly 34k every year. The advantage SASTRA has is, being a deemed university, it can rapidly adapt to changing technologies.
