Yes, the October intake is the only main intake for both UG and PG courses at the University of Oxford.

Unlike other UK universities offering the January or May intakes for some of the courses, Oxford has a single cohort starting in late September or early Oct for almost all of its programs.

Indian students can recieve their CAS 3 to 4 months in advance of the course start date. It takes around 3 weeks for the processing of the CAS letter.

For Sep/Oct intake, students are advised to apply by May-end, to avoid any delays with regards to CAS letter.

Generally, Imperial College London allows Indian students to request a deferral to the next intake.

But, it is to be noted that it is not automatic and it depends on the ICL courses and the department. Given below are the important pointers to look at -

  • Indian applicants should request a deferral early, because after visa processing begins, it gets difficult to get approval for this deferral.

No, Indian students cannot apply to Imperial College London without the UCAS for the UG courses. The UCAS is the centralized portal for all students around the world to apply for UG courses at Imperial College

If a student does not meet the direct entry requirements, the foundation or pathway programs are available at UCL or Warwick before applying to Imperial.

The tuition deposit at Teesside Uni is GBP 4,000 (INR 5.1 Lakhs) for Indian students. This is non-refundable and mandatory for students to pay, in order to receive their CAS letter.

Note - The deposit may be refunded in exceptional cases like UK study visa rejection.

Yes, the University of Hertfordshire accepts students through the pathway or the foundation courses for students who do not meet the direct admission requirements  (at least 60 to 70%).

It is done through Hertfordshire International College (HIC).

Given below are pointers you need to look for -

  • HIC Courses help students with what they should know when in the program.
  • Indian students who have completed their 12th with a minimum of 50% or higher, with an IELTS band score of 4.5.
