With an acceptance rate of 52.5% approximately For postgraduate courses at Birmingham City University, there is a minimum GPA requirement for international students. The university generally accepts a 2:2 honours degree equivalent, which corresponds to about 2.75 on a 4.0 scale.

For Indian students, it generally means having at least 55% overall in a bachelor's degree.  Some students with lower undergraduate degrees may be offered an 18-month MBA or MSc option and not the standard one-year master's.
