Yes, other than IELTS or TOEFL, the Duolingo DET test is also valid for the University of Liverpool admissions.

Although international students should have a minimum score of more than 100 to get admission here.

Yes, international students may have a tough time getting into the University of Liverpool as its acceptance rate is only 24%.

This would mean that only 24 students were selected out of every 100 who applied. But the students should not be discouraged by this if they meet the given criteria -

  • A GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
  • Minimum of overall 6.5 bands for any Liverpool program
  • Extracurriculars

Yes, there is a large community of international students studying at the University of Liverpool. In total there are 7000 currently, which makes up a huge chunk of the total students here.

Due to this, international students feel very welcomed and comfortable during their studies at Liverpool.

If someone is applying to the University of Liverpool as an Indian student, then they are required to apply with an English language test score. The students can take IELTS, PTE or Duolingo to be able to apply here.

For most courses, the IELTS score requirement is  6.5 overall with no skills less than 5.5 but for the courses mentioned below this requirement can be much higher -

  • Dentistry
  • Veterinary Science
  • Medicine

The specific score requirement might vary based on the programs.
