Wrexham University is located in Clwyd in the UK. So, no, this university is not close to London. Its main campus is around 200 miles or 320 kms northwest of London.

• Driving (takes around 4.5 hours)
• Flights (Manchester Airport is nearer)

If the plan is to gain a true international study experience and stay and work in the UK for at least 2-3 years after studies, then the University of Liverpool's UK campus is a better choice for Indian students than the Bengaluru campus.

While Uni of Liverpool Bengaluru campus offers the same UK Russell Group degree for lower tuition costs, it does not carry the same value in the eyes of employers outside India.

Yes, the University of Oxford is considered highly selective. It terms of enrollment though, it is a mid-sized rather than a small university. 

Oxford is the federation of over 35 independent colleges so the community is quite big.

This is definitely not a small liberal arts college with a total enrollment of around 26,000 students at UG and PG levels.
