With an acceptance rate of 41%, the university is not selective when it comes to admission. Durham University is part of the Russel Group Universities which enjoys the UK's own 'Ivy League' status. When we compare Durham’s admission process then it is quite easy to get into Durham in comparison to other major Russel Group universities like Cambridge, UCL, or Oxford. Candidates need to have an above average profile to secure admission here. Also, undergradaute applicants need to have at least a minimum SAT score of 1300 and a minimum ACT score of 29 to get into Durham.

Although, there is no GPA requirement declared by the university officially, however, candidates are expected to have a GPA of 3.0 on a scale of 4.0 for undergradaute programs to get into Durham University.
