Yes, Cardiff Uni is highly worth it for Indian students. It more than makes up for its high tuition costs via it's:
- Strong academic and research culture
- High graduate employability (95%)
- Lower costs of living than London
- Scholarships worth up to GBP 10,000 (INR 12.5 Lakhs) per year
- Strong Indian student community

Getting admission to Cardiff Uni is very competitive for Indian students. The university acceptance rate is only 20%, which suggest students with strong academics with active social participation are generally preferred for admission.
Indian students need a UG degree with a minimum 60% to be eligible for entry to PG courses. For entry to a UG programs, completing Class 12th with a minimum overall average of 78%-81% (except Hindi and Physical Education) is generally considered acceptable.

Indian students can apply to BNU directly for PG courses. Whereas, for admission to the UG courses, students can apply via UCAS or directly.
- UG: Class 12 completion with an overall score of 65%
- PG: A Bachelor's degree with 55% - 70% (percentage vary as per the courses)
- English language proficiency: IELTS score of 6.5 overall or 75% in English subject (all boards)

In the UK specific rankings, Buckinghamshire New University ranking as per the Complete Guide rakings for 2027 is 119. In the same rankings, it is ranked at #97 in 2026. On top of this, as per The Guardian rankings, BNU ranking is #73 in 2026.

The acceptance rate of Buckinghamshire New Univ range between 70% - 96%. This acceptance rate suggests that this university is easy to get into. Even then, students have to meet the entry requirements.
For BNU UG courses, Indian students must have completed Class 12 with an overall score of 65%. Whereas, for admission to BNU PG courses, the students must have a Bachelor's degree (minimum requirement varies)

Scholarship deadlines at Aston Uni vary. Some scholarships require a separate application, while some don't.
Among the scholarships that do require a separate application, are the International Communty Scholarship and Sir Adrian Cadbury Chancellor's Scholarship.
Deadline for the Community scholarship has passed for UG students. Sir Adrian Cadbury Chancellor's Scholarship is no longer accepting applications.
For the full-time MBA scholarship, students don't need to submit a seperate application. More information can be found on aston.ac.uk
