Students whose first language is not English have to qualify for English proficiency exams to get admission to Kettering College. The exams accepted by Kettering College are TOEFL and IELTS.A minimum of 90 scores is required to qualify TOEFL iBT exam and a minimum of 577 marks are required to qualify for TOEFL written tests. To qualify for IELTS a minimum score of 6.5 is required.

The early decision deadline for the Bachelor of Science in Nursing programme and Associate of Science in Radiologic Technology programme is May 25, 2026. These applicants will get notified in February about their admissions.
The deadlines for Regular Decision applications are later than those for Early Decision applications, and Regular Decision selection is used to fill the remaining class seats following Early Decision selection.

Getting into Kettering College is highly competitive. The acceptance rate of Kettering College is 25% according to US News. However, some of the sources mention the acceptance rate to be 34% but in any case, the chances of getting in are thin. To get into the college an applicant should have an unweighted cumulative high school GPA of 2.3 or a college cumulative GPA of 2.3, an ACT score of 19 or above. Being non-native English speakers, International students have to submit English proficiency exam scores like TOEFL and IELTS.
