As per the Duke University admission process, international students may have to attend an interview. These interviews are conducted by Duke alumni and have some deadlines.
All different programs have different timelines (UG, PG, MBA and Law). For the early decision admissions, they are conducted in November or December and for Regular decisions, this interview window is December to February.

Absolutely, GPA is one of the most important factors for Duke University admissions. This is used to assess how academically inclined an applicant is. To be considered at this university, the students would require a near-perfect GPA, which is often 3.9 or 4.0.

As per the latest data taken from Duke University, the acceptance rate here is only 4.8% which is similar to last few years.
It would mean that the Duke admissions are very tough. Duke only wants the best candidates and cannot compromise with the eligibility given below -
- A GPA of 4.2
- Amazing SAT scores (the average score of students who got it is 1550)
- ACT score (Average is 34)
- Great extracurriculars
- You should be at the top of your class
- A compelling essay (very important)

UIC Chicago follows a holistic admission policy which considered UG academic record, LOR, resume, and more. GMAT / GRE score is optional for MS in Business Analytics course. Students studying in this course should have an UG degree. Students should have a necessary business and technical background.
