In 2024 Cornell University received about 16,800 applications from prospective international students, of which 588 students were admitted to the Cornell University campus grounds.  In the end, almost 400 students enrolled. This means that the Cornell University acceptance rate stands at a mere 3.49% for international students.

Match Day is an annual event held on every third Friday of March. This event is just held for graduating medical students around the country. During this event, these graduates open their envelopes to reveal where they matched for their residencies.
